Police, FBI Ask For Help Identifying Suspect In Sunday Bank Robbery

ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A $1,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery on Sunday.

Authorities say that on the morning of September 7, a man walked into the TCF Bank located within the Kroger grocery store in Royal Oak Township demanding money.

Police tell WWJ the suspect handed a note to the teller stating,"Give me all your money or I will shoot you."

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 60-65 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, and about 210-220 pounds.

Still screen captures from surveillance video at TCF and Kroger show the suspect fleeing the scene in a vehicle described as a late model, dark green Ford Explorer.
