Police Confirm Tornado In Monroe Area; Residents Should Take Cover

MONROE (WWJ) - Monroe police confirming a tornado in the area Sunday afternoon. They are advising residents to take cover.

The twister has been spotted near U-S 23 and Cone Road. As of 1 p.m. police say it is still in area hovering in the Milan area.

Several WWJ listeners have called into the station to say they hear the sirens; If you hear the tornado sirens, you should take cover and stay away from windows.
