Police Arrest Live-In Boyfriend In Suspected Rape Of 7-Year-Old Girl

PONTIAC (WWJ) - A 35-year-old man is in custody after allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl in Orion Township.

The suspect, Matthew Ryan McBee is the mother's live-in boyfriend.

According to police, the victim was alone with McBEE when she was exposed to pornographic material just prior to being assaulted.

McBee was arraigned and a $500,000 bond was set.

If convicted, the sentence carries a minimum 25-year felony with life time electronic monitoring.
