Police: Alone At Home, 1 Child Dead, Another Critically Injured In Fire

ROMULUS (WWJ) - One child is dead and another in critical condition after a blaze breaks out in a Romulus home on Sunday.

The fire took place in a townhouse on Mountain Way off of Eureak Road around 2 p.m.

Reports say the mother of the one and three-year-old has been arrested for child endangerment - she was allegedly not home at the time of the fire.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway.
