Police: 84-Year-Old Assaulted By Daughter During Drunken Argument

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - It's a third strike, if found guilty, for a 53-year-old woman facing domestic assault charges in an Oakland County court.

On November 8, police responded to domestic assault call that occurred in Bloomfield Township.

Police say the victim, an 84-year-old elderly female, was assaulted by her 53-year-old daughter who was intoxicated.

The victim received minor injuries during the assault. Charged in this case with domestic violence third offense is Susan Joan Harding of Bloomfield Township.

Harding was video arraigned and given a $150,000 cash bond and her next court appearance is on November 17, in 48th District Court.
