Police: 4 Shot In Detroit Including 1-Year-Old Hit By Bullet

DETROIT (WWJ) - A 1-year-old boy is listed among the injured after a spray of gunfire erupted in the city's west side.

Police say a group of people were standing on Memorial street, near Chicago and the Southfield Freeway when another group drove up and opened fire.

Police confirm that four people were shot Wednesday and are in area hospitals; all are expected to survive.

According to police the 1-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man were grazed with a bullet -- while an 18-year-old woman was shot once and a 24-year-old man was shot three times.
