Police: 2 Teens Shot At House Party In Southwest Detroit Not Cooperating

DETROIT (WWJ) - An investigation is underway to find out who shot two teens inside a southwest Detroit home, but police say the victims aren't exactly helping their case.

The situation unfolded Wednesday night after a 15-year-old walked into Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound to the elbow. About 10 minutes later, a 13-year-old arrived at Oakwood Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Investigators were able to determine the teens had both been at a house party on Clipper Street, near Livernois and Michigan Avenue, when they were shot. However, police say the teens are not cooperating with the investigation and will not reveal who fired the gun.

Both teens are expected to recover.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact police at 313-267-4600.
