Police: 2 Men Wearing Ninja Masks Cut Off Man's Ear During Break-In, Robbery

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are on the look out for two men accused of breaking and entering a home full of dogs.

Police say a 52-year-old was assaulted as he entered a home on Mackay street on the city's east side. The man was beaten and the suspects even cut his ear off.

Reports state dogs in the home were bred for fighting although police have not confirmed that charge.

Two more people were attacked and had miscellaneous items stolen from them. The dogs, which could be dozens in total,  were taken from the home by animal control and the Michigan Humane Society.

Authorities describe the suspects as two black men in ninja masks.

Earlier reports claim the victim was charged in connection to dog breeding but police have not confirmed the connection.
