Pistons Say Caldwell-Pope Has Strained Knee, No Structural Damage

AUBURN HILLS (AP) — Detroit Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is expected to miss the next three preseason games with a left knee strain, but the team says an MRI showed no structural damage.

Caldwell-Pope was injured during the third quarter of Sunday's loss at Washington. He is expected to be re-evaluated next week.

The Pistons drafted Caldwell-Pope in the first round last year, and he averaged 5.9 points per game. He made 41 starts.
