NBA Insider John Hollinger of ESPN posted his latest NBA Playoff odds. The Pistons chances have seriously increased due to their current 7 game winning streak.

Their odds of making the playoffs are set at 60.4% which would make them the 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.

However, their odds to make the NBA Finals are at 4.4% which is over 3 times better than Cleveland's odds at 1.3%.

Hollinger gives Detroit 0.7% odds to win the NBA Championship, which is more than he gave Cleveland (0.1) and Oklahoma City (0.4).

The Pistons currently have a 12-23 record. Hollinger's best case scenario for Detroit is an astonishing 54-28 record, and his worst case scenario is that they'll win a total of 8 more games the rest of the season and finish 20-62.

Since releasing Josh Smith, they're playing with a lot more energy, the offense looks very fluid, and they're competing at a high level. It's fun to watch.
