Piece Of Concrete Falls At Comerica Park After Tigers Game

DETROIT (AP) - An official with the Detroit Tigers says no one was hurt when a piece of concrete fell onto a Comerica Park concourse after a game at the baseball stadium.

Ron Colangelo, the team's vice president of communications, says stadium operations reported a piece of a concrete fell at the 100-level concourse after Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. He says the stadium was "pretty clear at the time."

Colangelo tells the Detroit Free Press that officials will look into what caused the concrete to fall. He says they've isolated the area.

The Tigers' next scheduled game at Comerica Park is Tuesday night. The team played its first season there in 2000.
