Twitter for the average Joe is amazing. Twitter for a collegiate athlete really doesn't do them any good.
Take Penn State sophomore CB Bryant Harper for example.
Monday morning Harper tweeted out that he got a B on his anatomy exam without studying.
B on my first anatomy exam and I didn't study I'll take it

Only one slight problem with the tweet: His coach follows him on Twitter and didn't seem too happy about it.
Penn State head coach James Franklin responded, "you didn't study huh, interesting, guess I need to up your study hall hours! We don't settle for B's!"

Pretty comical that Twitter is nothing but trouble for these student athletes.
@coachjfranklin forget when the exam was coach minor difficulty in my scheduling!

I still don't understand why these kids continue to shoot themselves in the foot via social media.
Harper continued to tweet about it after his original tweet went viral.
In the meantime while my tweet is going viral can I get a few follows my ratio looks like @BaneyPSU Call of Duty K/D ratio ????????????

He should stop while he's ahead.
