Pedestrian Killed Along 7 Mile Road In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say a man was struck by a vehicle and killed while walking along a road on the city's northeast side.
The accident happened just before 5:30 a.m. Friday on 7 Mile Road near Waltham Street, between Schoenherr and Hoover.
According to police, the unidentified man was walking along 7 Mile when he stepped in front of a car. He was declared dead at the scene.
The 42-year-old driver stopped after the collision and was interviewed by police.
An investigation is ongoing.
