Pat Riley Admits '88 Finals Foul Was Phantom [VIDEO]

Miami Heat President Miami Heat addressed the media Thursday, wrapping up the Miami season after their NBA Finals loss to the Spurs. He went through a variety of topics including the history of teams that lost in the Finals but came back to win the next year.

In his history lesson he mentioned his champion 1988 Los Angeles Lakers, who as you know defeated the Pistons in seven games. In his description he actually acknowledges that the Bill Laimbeer foul on Kareem Abdul Jabbar was indeed a "phantom " foul.
