Person Ejected From Vehicle During Rollover Crash On I-94; Alcohol Believed To Be Involved

HARPER WOODS (WWJ) -- Multiple people were injured during a scary rollover crash on I-94 near Allard Ave. on Friday night in Harper Woods.

Police say the driver of a Ford Explorer lost control of the vehicle, ran up the concrete median wall, rode on top of the wall for approximately 100 feet before striking a concrete bridge abutment.

The vehicle then flipped onto its roof and slid westbound on I-94 before coming to rest.

One occupant was ejected. All four of the occupants in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Police say that alcohol appears to be a factor.
