Parents beware: several mothers from across the country are claiming that shards of glass have been found in baby wipes made by popular child-care manufacturer Huggies.

The first mention came from California mother Melissa Estrella, who posted a video on Facebook (since deleted) showing shards of glass inside three different packages of baby wipes. Other parents claim that the wipes contain shiny fiberglass.

Kimberly-Clark spokesman Bob Brand said that what customers are most likely seeing are small pieces of melted fibers.

"We believe what has been reported as glass shards are, most likely, melted fiber particles of our wipe material used in the manufacturing process of the product," Brand said.

Huggies issued an official response, stating that the company doesn't even use glass in the manufacturing process.

Huggies encourages concerned parents to contact the company online at their WEBSITE or to call 1-888-485-6839.
