One Killed, Three Critical After Wrong-Way Freeway Crash

MARNE, Mich. (AP) — A Grand Rapids woman has been killed and three other people critically injured in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 96 in Ottawa County.

The Grand Rapids Press reports that the woman was a passenger in a car being driven by her husband that struck another car head-on Friday afternoon in Marne.

WOOD-TV reports that one of the cars was traveling west in the freeway's eastbound lanes.

The occupants of the second vehicle are a man and woman from Montague in Muskegon County.
