One Dead In Fire On Detroit's Southwest Side

DETROIT (WWJ) -- One person is dead following a house fire in southwest Detroit tonight.

The fire broke out on Monday night on Military Street, near Livernois Avenue and Vernor Highway.

It's not clear if there was anyone else in the house at the time. Right now, investigators are not releasing the victim's age or gender.

At this time arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
