One Click Away From A Job: State Hosts Virtual Career Fair TODAY

LANSING (WWJ/AP) - Here's a chance to land the job you've always wanted.

Job seekers and employers will be able to connect through the State of Michigan-sponsored MiVirtualCareerFair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Over three dozen employers will be looking to fill open positions during the virtual career fair, including American Axel Manufacturing, Delphi Automotive, Lansing Community College, Nissan Technical Center North America, Real Estate One, Trilogy Health Services, U.S. Marines and Wolverine Advanced Materials.

During the fair, job seekers can explore customized employer booths, chat with participating employers and apply for job opportunities.

Participation for job seekers is free.

More than 140 employers and 20,750 job seekers have connected since MiVirtualCareerFair debuted two years ago. Another virtual career fair is scheduled for Nov. 12.
