Ohio Woman Dies In Crash In Sand Dunes At Michigan Park

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — An Ohio woman has died while riding in a Jeep Wrangler in sand dunes at a Michigan  park.

The Oceana County sheriff's office says the 2012 Wrangler flipped Saturday at Silver Lake State Park, killing 49-year-old Leslyn Yowell of Grove City, Ohio. Her husband was driving.

Yowell was wearing a seat belt in the back seat of the vehicle.

The park is a popular place for off-road vehicles because of the sand dunes. It has four miles of Lake Michigan shore.
