Officials: Kayaker Rescued Near Dam At Ludington State Park

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Officials say a 42-year-old kayaker has been rescued after he went under the water near a dam at Ludington State Park in western Michigan.

The Ludington Daily News reports the man was pulled from the water on Sunday and revived while emergency crews were called the scene in Mason County's Hamlin Township.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment. The newspaper says he was in the area with a group that was part of an area video shoot.
