Odell Beckham's One-handed Catch Spawns Countless Memes
It might be the best catch to ever occur in football. Fellow athletes are already reaching that conclusion. It doesn't look possible no matter how many times you watch it, but it happened.
Odell Beckham snagged the touchdown with three fingers (while being fouled) and somehow was able to maintain possession through the process.
There are two depressing side notes for Lions fans:
1 - The catch meant nothing since the Giants still lost moving the Cowboys ahead of the Lions in the wildcard hunt.
2 - The Lions could have selected Beckham (609 YDS and 5 TDS) instead of Eric Ebron (148 YDS and 1 TD) in the 2014 draft.
Hop over to the NFL's Twitter account to see if a few more times to cheer yourself up. Go ahead, watch it 15 times. It won't become any less jaw-dropping.
Odell Beckham just broke the internets.
