Not Quite 313 Birthday Wishes For Detroit, But Close! (VIDEO)

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - It was a party 313 years in the making, and metro Detroiters celebrated the city's birthday in Campus Martius with a variety of events.

Balloon sculptures, games, music, a butterfly release and parade floats were among the activities and events organized by the Detroit 300 Conservancy and Bedrock Real Estate Services to celebrate the birthday.
