Not My Angus! Restaurant's Cow Costume Swiped As Employee Uses Bathroom

HARTLAND TWP. (WWJ/AP) - A Michigan restaurant says a cow costume it uses to boost business was snatched after a worker left the two-piece outfit outside a gas station while using the bathroom.

The black-and-white suit, which some employees affectionately refer to as "My Angus," disappeared last weekend.

"He set it outside of the building, and it was taken," manager Kristy Ressler told The Livingston County Press & Argus. "Everyone has a beef with the cow."

The costume has been used by Black Rock Bar & Grill since it opened several years ago. An employee dons the suit a few times a week and stands outside to help promote the restaurant's specials. The cow also makes appearances at community events.

Ressler says it's the second time the suit's been rustled.

Anyone with information on the costume's whereabouts is asked to contact the restaurant at 810-632-5500, or local police.
