Coffey of Arenac County bought a winning ticket in the Michigan Lottery's Cash for Life game. She claimed her prize Friday, choosing a lump sum of $442,000 before taxes.

Coffey bought the ticket at Dore's Party Store in Whittemore in Iosco County.

[She also works at the store, which means customers now are asking her to touch their lottery tickets for luck.]
