Michigan Man Dies After Being Run Over By Tractor
COLFAX TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 67-year-old northern Michigan man died when he fell from a tractor and was run over by the vehicle.
TV station WWTV and MLive report Paul Boven of Manton, 90 miles south of Traverse City, was found by family members pinned beneath the tractor in Colfax Township about 2 p.m. Saturday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies said the man was working to mow a trail on the property. They said he was not wearing a seatbelt and fell off the driver's seat.
The accident remains under investigation.
