Noise Becoming The New Headache For Folks Around I-96 Construction Project

LIVONIA (CBS DETROIT) - While most of us concentrated on finding a new route to avoid the massive I-96 construction project that will last until the fall ... it seems there's an added element that hadn't been thought of for surrounding residents; noise. Twenty-four - seven, noise.

MDOT contends that the only way to complete the project in a 'timely' manner, six months or so, is to work around the clock.

The schedule is now creating some sleepless nights for surrounding neighbors.
