Nikola Founder Steps Down Due To Fraud Accusations Amid New Partnership With GM

(CBS DETROIT) – The founder of German electric automaker Nikola is stepping down over fraud allegations.

This comes just two weeks after General Motors announced a $2 billion partnership with the company to make electric vehicles.

Trevor Milton is accused of misleading investors over Nikola's vehicles.

Former GM Vice Chairman Stephen Girsky is set to replace him.
