Nike Mags With Powered Laces Are Confirmed For 2015 [PHOTO]

You may remember back to 2011 when Nike first released the Nike Mag. If you aren't familiar with the shoe — it's the one that Marty McFly wore when he traveled forward in time to 2015 in "Back to the Future II."

When the Nike Mag first came out the only way to purchase the shoe (only 1,510 pairs were made) was through an eBay auction.

The 1,500 pairs of Mags sold for a whopping $5.6 million, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

There was one major problem with the shoes that people would gripe about: They didn't lace themselves like they did in the movies.

Nike has solved the issue!

Tinker Hatfield, who designed the shoe (also plenty pairs of Air Jordan's), has confirmed the 2015 version of the shoe will lace itself.

Hatfield originally designed the shoes, at least style-wise, back in 1988.
