NFL's Terrell Suggs Arrested On Suspended License In Arizona

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was arrested after his BMW apparently hit a curb in the Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale.

Officers responding to a report of a crash early Friday followed a fluid trail to a grocery store parking lot where they found the 33-year-old's car with fresh damage.

Police Sgt. Ben Hoster says Suggs wasn't impaired and told officers he possibly fell asleep before the crash.

Hoster says Suggs was arrested and booked on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license. He has been released.

Hoster says Suggs didn't have an attorney when he was processed.

Suggs is a six-time Pro Bowl linebacker and a lynchpin of the Ravens defense. He tore his Achilles tendon in the 2015 opener and missed the rest of the year.
