NFL Photographer Uses Only An iPhone 6s At The Lions Vs. Broncos Game

Andrew Weber is a professional photographer who covers NASCAR and the NFL. He normally works with 12k worth of camera gear, but mobile tech news and reviews site GottaBeMobile.com assigned him to test out the new iPhone's hardware in a challenging environment.

Fast-paced action, low light and distant subjects are a nightmare for a cellphone photog, but Weber takes puts the iPhone 6s Plus' 12-megapixel sensor through its paces with mixed results.

Weber's command of the camera phone is no consolation to Lions fans who suffered another disappointing loss dropping to 0-3 on the season.

The iPhone shots of action on the field and very low light scenes would be laughed out of the room by an editor, but detail shots, panoramas and behind the scenes subjects look great.
