Nerlens Noel Rejects James Harden's Dunk Attempt [VIDEO]

My first year of varsity basketball in high school the thing I remember most is our two big guys challenging each other to see who could dunk on who.

I absolutely loved seeing dudes get dunked on and then you would get the occasional block at the rim and that's what I loved most.

That exact scenario happened between the Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets on Monday night.

76ers rookie Nerlens Noel, who would have been a rookie last year if it wasn't for his brutal knee injury, decided to show the league he is a force to reckoned with.

The Rockets' James Harden controlled the ball at the end of the third quarter. He beat his man to the rim and went up for a slam at the end of the quarter and that's when Noel stepped up and stuffed Harden above the rim to prevent the dunk.

I have a feeling you will see plenty more of this from Noel this season.
