Ndamukong Suh Visits Jim Harbaugh

CBS DETROIT - Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, a four-time All-Pro who can become a free agent March 10, took a trip to Ann Arbor and met with new Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, who left the San Francisco 49ers to take on the task of resurrecting the program at his alma mater.

That means two of Michigan's most famous football men spent some time together Thursday.

The university did not immediately respond to a request for more information on Suh's visit.

Lions general manager Martin Mayhew expressed confidence Wednesday that Detroit will be able to re-sign Suh, its best defensive player. Mayhew said the team is willing to commit the resources necessary to sign Suh and that it will be a setback to the franchise if the Lions lose him.
