Murder Victim's Frantic Last Moments Caught On Surveillance Camera; Suspect At Large [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have released a video that shows the frantic final moments of a murder victim's life in hopes the public might be able to recognize the suspect and a person of interest.

The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18 in the 7900 block of Charlevoix, near Van Dyke on the city's east side.

According to police, the suspect approached the 36-year-old victim inside a store and walked him out of the business at gunpoint. Once outside, police say the suspect made the victim sit inside of a vehicle and then proceeded to shoot him.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

In the video, the suspect is seen walking the victim out of the store. A female also seen in the video accompanied the male suspect, according to police. She is wanted for questioning.

Both the suspect and the female escaped the scene in a bronze-colored, newer model Chrysler 200.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, 25- to 30 years-old, 6-foot tall with dreadlocks and a full beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black Dickie pants.
