Mud Hens Will Dress Like Santa, Elves For 'Christmas In July' Games [PHOTO]

CBS DETROIT - In the latest promotional gimmick of the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens, players will wear jerseys that resemble the outfits of Santa and his elves for the team's "Christmas in July" doubleheader on July 19.
The Santa-inspired shirt is red with a white "fur" stripe down the middle, white "fur" rims on the sleeves and white "fur" encircling the waist. A big black belt is portrayed above the latter.
The elf-inspired shirt is green with red-and-white-striped sleeves, a white "fur" stripe down the middle of the shirt and a black belt.
Needless to say, the players are surely thrilled.
