MSU Athletics Makes History

Michigan State athletics have simply been dominating the state over the past half decade.

It's rare for a university to have a great football team, and basketball team at once. Sure, it happens every so often, but not to the extent it's been in East Lansing.

Longtime NFL writer Gil Brandt tweeted out a remarkable statistic today:

Michigan State is the first school in NCAA history to win 4 consecutive bowl games and reach 4 consecutive sweet sixteens.

The Spartans' football team begins spring practice today, as the basketball team is preparing for their sweet sixteen match-up against Oklahoma on Friday.

The crazy thing is that Michigan State's athletic dominance has shown no signs of slowing down.
