The Wings will start Petr Mrazek in goal for the pivotal Game 3 against the Lightning in Detroit.

Tyler Johnson scored twice in the third period and had two assists as the Lightning downed the Wings 5-2. Johnson snapped a 2-2 deadlock just over two minutes after Brad Richards tied it for Detroit. Nikita Kucherov  netted his third goal of the series and Ben Bishop finished with 30 saves to help the Lightning retain home-ice advantage.

Dylan Larkin had the first goal for the Red Wings, who host Game 3 on Sunday.
