Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Sign In Farmington Hills

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- A motorcyclist is dead after an early-morning crash in Farmington Hills on Saturday.

Police told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the 43-year-old man was traveling on Shiawassee Road, west of Inkster, when his motorcycle left the roadway and hit a sign.

Investigators believe the man, from Livonia, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene just after 4 a.m.

There is no word if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
