More Evidence To Be Revealed In EMU Player's Death

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Two young Detroit men are returning to court for a hearing to determine if they'll face trial for the fatal shooting of an Eastern Michigan University football player.

Demarius Reed of Chicago was killed at his off-campus apartment building in October. Kristopher Pratt and Ed Thomas, both 20 years old, are charged with robbing and killing him.

The court hearing to reveal evidence began Jan. 17 and resumes Wednesday in Pittsfield Township in Washtenaw County. The mother of Thomas' child could testify. A judge must decide whether there's probable cause to send Pratt and Thomas to trial in Circuit Court.
