The deadline to have NFL rosters cut down to 53 players came and went on Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Detroit Lions haven't officially announced who has been let go, but reports have indicated that quarterback Kellen Moore, running back George Winn and tight end Joseph Fauria have been cut from the squad.
Other players reportedly cut include wide receivers Jeremy Ross and Greg Salas along with defensive tackle Jerel Worthy.
With the release of Winn, the Lions will likely have room to retain preseason star Zach Zenner, who led the NFL in rushing during four preseason games.
The Lions will have two quarterbacks on their roster now with the release of Moore -- Matthew Stafford and Dan Orlovsky.
A full list of released players is expected to be officially announced.
