CBS DETROIT - Detroit Pistons forward Greg Monroe will miss Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a right knee strain, the team announced.

Monroe's injury occurred during Monday's practice and was confirmed by an MRI, the team stated in a press release. The Pistons will evaluate Monroe again Wednesday and then decide whether he will play that night against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Monroe is Detroit's leading scorer, averaging 16 points and 10.4 rebounds. Monroe also plays more minutes per game (31.1) than any other player currently on the roster.

The Pistons (23-43) are currently on a 10-game losing streak.
