Monroe Man Wanted For Bank Robbery May Be Connected To Another Crime

FRENCHTOWN TWP. (WWJ) - The Monroe County Sheriff's Department asking for the public's help in locating a known bank robbery suspect.

Police are looking for David Nadeau, of Monroe, in connection with a robbery that occurred Friday at the Monroe Bank and Trust on North Monroe Street in Frenchtown Township.

According to police, Nadeau walked into the bank shortly after 4 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, Nadeau left the bank and fled the area in a dark-colored Jeep SUV.

Authorities say Nadeau has multiple felony arrest warrants and is also wanted for questioning in regards to an armed robbery in the city. He is described as a white male with a mustache and beard.
