Moderna Slows Vaccine Trials To Include More Diversity With Black, Latino And Native Americans

(CBS DETROIT) – Moderna is slowing its late stage vaccine trials to include more diversity.

According to Reuters, the company is trying to include more Black, Latino, and Native Americans.

As of mid-September Black Americans made up only seven percent of volunteers.

Experts say that number should be closer to 13 percent to represent the national make-up.
