Mistaken Mug On Reality TV Show Leads To Lawsuit

DETROIT (AP) - A lawsuit has been filed by a local construction worker ... saying his photo was shown on a TV reality show that mistakenly told viewers he ran from Eastpointe Police officers and hopped in the back of a stolen limousine.

The man shown fleeing police in a clip aired on MSNBC's "Caught on Camera: Dash Cam Diaries" is Todd Keith. The person suing is Keith Todd, whose complaint was filed in Wayne County Circuit Court against NBC Universal, the Eastpointe police department and a limousine company.

Todd says he suffered public humiliation and loss of employment income as a result of the mistaken mugshot.
