Missing Snowmobilers Found Safe In Upper Peninsula

ONTONAGON, Mich. (AP) - Two missing snowmobilers from Minnesota have been found alive in Michigan's Upper Peninsula area.

The Civil Air Patrol of Michigan says the men were discovered Monday afternoon near the Porcupine Mountains State Park in Ontonagon County in the western Upper Peninsula.

Bad weather kept planes grounded, but the air patrol says it was able to help by using cellphone forensics technology.

The 40-year-old man and his 19-year-old son became lost Sunday.
