Missing Downriver Firefighter's Car Abandoned At Ohio Rest Stop

TAYLOR (WWJ) - Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Downriver firefighter whose vehicle was found in another state.

Twenty-two-year-old Timothy Graves finished his shift as an EMT at HealthLink Medical Transport, on Northline and Beech Daly roads in Taylor, around 10 p.m. Sunday and hasn't been seen since.

Graves' step-mother told reporters that she got a call from police in Ohio, saying her son's car, a green Saturn SL, was found recently at a rest stop south of Toledo.

The Wood County Sheriff's Department told WWJ the car was located off southbound I-75 between Maumee and Bowling Green. Police said the car was locked and there wasn't anything unusual, other than no one was there.

Graves, who is also a Belleville firefighter, is described as 5'6" tall with short brown hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a HealthLink uniform.

Anyone with information on Graves' whereabouts is asked to contact police at 734-287-6611.
