Missing: 14-Year-Old Girl May Have Run Away, Family Fears For Her Safety

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are asking for help to find a young girl missing since early Saturday morning.

Emani Bates was last seen at her home on Trinity Street in Detroit by her mom -- who thinks Emani ran away because she was being punished.

Emani is 14-years-old, 5 feet, 4 inches tall,  and weights 135 pounds. She has a medium brown complexion, with brown eyes, and black shoulder length hair.  She was last seen wearing a red and black tie-dyed shirt, light blue pants, red puma shoes.
