Miss Wayne County Arianna Quan Crowned Miss Michigan

MUSKEGON (AP) — Miss Wayne County Arianna Quan has been crowned Miss Michigan at the pageant in Muskegon.

Quan wins $12,000 in scholarship money and will represent the state at the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in September.

The winner performed an original mix of a Glinka-Balakirev composition on the classical piano in the talent competition, according to the Muskegon Chronicle.

The first runner-up selected on Saturday evening was Miss Shoreline Alexandria Strother; second runner-up Miss Bay County Ashli Maser; third runner-up Miss St. Clair Shores Shelby Gardiner; and fourth runner-up Miss Lighthouse Coast Quinn Fischmann.
