Miguel Cabrera Homers In All-Star Game [VIDEO]

CBS DETROIT - Detroit Tigers superstar Miguel Cabrera ended a streak of 11 games without a home run when he smacked a two-run blast in his first at bat in Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game.

Cabrera, who started at first base for the American League and hit clean-up, made headlines before the game when he told a USA Today reporter Monday that the injury from last season still bothered him, but Tuesday he insisted he felt fine.

Cabrera's power has been lower than usual in the first half of this season, just as it was in the second half of last season. He entered the All-Star break with a .306 batting average, .534 slugging percentage, 34 doubles and 14 home runs.
