The best players in college were honored on Thursday.
According to USA Today, "the most prestigious award in college football" was given to Michigan's holder Garrett Moores.
The award was created by former Minnesota punter Peter Mortell and he gave himself the inaugural award. Moores took sometime to make an acceptance video.
Congrats @gmoores11! This year, in all of college football, no one held their kicker's balls better than you. #HOTY pic.twitter.com/Oy9eyogGwJ

Even if you don't like the University of Michigan you really can appreciate and laugh at this video. I love the fact there are about three people in the audience and don't believe there is a holder of the year award.
It's obviously a spoof and Moores is laughing at himself -- but it really was well done.
